Kathie Freshour
President / Secretary / TreasurerKathie brings her background and professional development in banking and lending to the business end of the nursery, handling human resource matters, vendors, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. She also works with Auburn Career Center’s Plant, Turf, and Landscape Management Program to provide training for interns and is a past board member of Auburn’s Advisory Committee. The nursery is a corporate donor for the Madison Food Center and Kathie is a past volunteer.
Mark Freshour
Vice- PresidentMark’s three decades of experience in the nursery industry encouraged him to buy North Coast Perennials with Kathie in 2008. Mark holds a Private Applicator Spray License from the Ohio Department of Agriculture and attended Lakeland Community College from 1990 to 1992 and successfully completed the Nursery Certification Program. Mark assists with the day to day operations with weekly manager meetings, and he enjoys driving our company box trucks in the busy season delivering orders so he can touch base with our customers.
Jessica Jelenic
Production ManagerJessica has been in the nursery industry for 27 years and originally started as an order puller at North Coast 17 years ago. A few years later she transitioned into the office and was our primary sales/customer service representative. Currently she oversees all aspects of the nursery operations: placing orders with our suppliers, determining how the plants will be grown and organized on our grounds, managing the production and order pulling crews, and even assisting in the office when necessary. She stays busy working with the owners and other supervisors to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our facility.
Tiffany Cell
Sales / Customer ServiceSpring 2026 will mark the 7th season at NCP for Tiffany. With over 30 years of customer service experience, she delights in helping customers find the perfect plants for their needs! You can sometimes find her visiting retail customers in Ohio, PA and Western NY, as she loves getting to see how each garden center/nursery is set up and meeting our amazing customers.
Anne Federici
Sales / Customer ServiceWith 2026 beginning her 4th season with North Coast, Anne has proven to be a great asset to the team. She works outside with the production crew most of the time, but also jumps into action in the office during the busy part of the season to assist in fulfilling orders. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude are very much appreciated by teammates and customers alike.
