CLEMATIS ‘Belle of Woking’
May-June Purplish-pink, white, double 6-7”
An array of beautiful flowers cover these deciduous vines May through October. Clematis is happiest with its roots in a cool, moist, well drained area. We are often asked about pruning these vines. So – here goes – if all varieties were left uncut they would still flower very well. However, the flowers would not necessarily cover the entire vine as they otherwise could. The varieties we have selected can be trimmed from April into early May to about 12-18″ above the ground. Separate and direct new shoots to keep them from being tangled.
