Pointed, almond-shaped leaves resemble the eyes of a serpent. Lots of appeal to this if you put two leaves together and look at the light green and white flash patterns with deep green with narrow chartreuse centers edged in white. The plant is vigorous and forms a showy clump quite quickly. Lavender flowers bloom in late summer.
